I hope this email finds you well! My name is Amanda Morris, and I’m an NYU Journalism student who is doing a video journalism story on biking in the city, what that’s like, and how safe or unsafe it is to bike in New York. I was wondering if I could arrange a time to meet some members of your organization and do interviews on camera for my advanced reporting class. I would also like to film some BROLL for this piece.


I think this is a topic that is grossly under reported and could benefit from more attention in the media, especially given what happened last week.


If possible, I’d love to film an interview before next week. I’m available on Wednesday afternoon or Friday afternoon. I’m also available on Saturday throughout the day.


I plan to attend the biker’s day of remembrance on the 19th.
